Steve installed this on a customer's EV and was very impressed with the ease of installation, well marked parts and instructions, and the performance of this Sierra Unit. Kit DOES NOT include hoses. You will have to take your existing hoses to someone for the new ends to be put on. Our experience was less than $80.00. And if you take your Vehicle to an AC Shop to have the R134a
( NO OIL) put in... use the spec's for your vehicle. Our experience was 1.1lbs for a cost of about $60.

Smooth starts at low motor currents to maintain precise control and eliminate jerky starts. Motor protection voltage and current output in the forward and reverse directions can be independently limited. Adjustable switching frequency losses in any controller go up with switching frequency; the Soliton1 lets you choose between higher performance and efficiency (8kHz) or guaranteed silence at all current levels (14kHz programmable acceleration rate motor current traction control from a slow 100A per second to a tire-smoking 25,000Amps/sec.


Built in Pre-charge Contactor. Input terminals Protected against wiring errors reverse and over-voltage. All output terminals protected against short-circuit and inductive kickback. 3-wire throttle input: Throttle input accepts a 0-5V signal from a pot (1k to 5k ideal), Hall effect pedal, etc. Two dedicated inputs: Tachometer (1, 2, 4, 6 pulses per revolution) for protecting against motor over-speed and Brake, for inhibiting the motor output even if the throttle is "stuck on". Error lights report to the driver via the existing "Check Engine" light and other 12V indicators.

Iota DLS-45 Amp regulated battery charger works as a DC to DC Converter on 120 to 180 DC volt nominal pack cars, dual setting 13.8 or 14.3 volts out

IMPORTANT NOTE: When using as a DC-DC converter the two 110 AC input leads (the black and the white wire), go to battery pack most negative and most positive and it does not matter which one goes to which wire. Most people install an AC receptacle hooked to their high voltage DC so the unit can be unplugged and plugged into AC to charge their auxiliary if they wish.

The DLS series converter/power supply can be used with or without a battery. When used as a converter/power supply, the DLS model will only supply what is required by the load. When not in use it is essentially off, reducing electricity usage. Even in its subcompact size, the DLS series converter/power supply, at full load, has an operating temperature half that of some switch mode electronic models. This means substantially longer life and safer operation.

During times of heavy load demands, the automatic circuitry will activate the fan before thermal stress can occur on any internal components. Reliability and durability is built into all DLS models. In the event the batteries or the DLS unit is wired incorrectly, the DLS converter/power supply is protected from damage. External fuses can be quickly and easily replaced.

Multiple units can be operated in series or parallel to increase amperage for additional power.

VACUUM PUMP $778.00





An electric vacuum pump is used in electric and conventional vehicles to boost the vacuum needed for normal power brakes operation. The pumps featured here are manufactured specifically for electric vehicles by MES Switzerland; the type is 70/6E and 70/6E2.

The difference between two types is productivity, size, running current and type of integrated pressure switch.

70/6E and 70/6E2 has very low acoustic noise and vibration levels, and hardly noticed during operation. The vacuum is controlled by integrated control circuitry consisting of vacuum sensor and solid state vacuum switch. The 70/6E has relative pressure switch whereas 70/6E2 has absolute pressure switch. Both types will maintain preset vacuum level cycling on and off on its own between -600mbar (17.7" Hg) and -650 mbar (19.2" Hg), however 70/6E will reduce vacuum level as atmospheric pressure drops (e.g. at high altitudes) so may never shut off. For instance, at he elevation of 4000 feet above sea level, the 70/6E may only be able to produce 15" Hg vacuum so the shutoff threshold of 19.2" HG will never be reached. In contrast, 70/6E2 will always reach 19.2" regardless of the atmospheric pressure. This needs to be considered for your application.

The power required is 12...15 volts DC directly supplied to the pump all the time, no external switches needed.

When ordering, select correct HVC voltage for your cell model. 3.8V is typically used on Thundersky/Winston/Sinopoly cells, while 3.6V is used on all others.
